Job Description: We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for web development, a strong understanding of WordPress, and a desire to create engaging and user-friendly websites.
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements.
- Modify existing WordPress themes and plugins as needed.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to create visually appealing and functional websites.
- Conduct website performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio of WordPress projects.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
- Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices.
- Knowledge of security best practices for web development.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
